 Australian Small Animal Veterinary Association

The ASAVA is an Australia-wide organisation that represents Veterinarians who are dedicated to excelling in small animal practice. 

The ASAVA was formed in 1967 (first president in 1968) and today has over 1,600 members in Australia and in New Zealand and other countries. Initially independent of its parent body the AVA, the ASAVA was incorporated into the AVA structure in the 1980s. Its headquarters are based within AVA house at St Leonards, Sydney. The ASAVA provides regional representation to small animal veterinarians across Australia.

As the special interest group of the AVA representing the interests of small animal veterinarians and their patients, the ASAVA continues to provide significant and substantial member benefits. Click here to find out more.
