The ASAVA, fresh from bringing the “world to Australia” for 2007, takes
the delegates to the world heritage-listed environment of tropical North
Queensland
for 2008.
We are determined to set the standard in providing you with all the latest updates on canine and feline medicine, small animal surgical procedures, the latest diagnostics, advanced imaging, new drugs and journal articles. We will also ensure that the latest CE methods are utilised to safeguard a satisfying learning experience. All this will take place, quite appropriately, in a state of the art convention centre recently voted in the top 3 in the world.
Cairns is beautiful in August, while the rest of the continent shivers. The Great Barrier Reef, Daintree Forest, Mission Beach and Port Douglas are all at your doorstep when you have finished exploring the exciting restaurants, nightlife and surrounding beaches of Cairns, a tropical laid-back centre with infinite appeal.
In an all-Australian based assault, Dr Darren Merrett (Small Animal Medicine) will MC the scientific program, adeptly aided by Dr David Lidbetter (Surgery), Dr Vanessa Barrs (Feline Medicine), Dr Jules Beatty (Feline Medicine), Dr Rob Nicoll (Diagnostic Imaging) and Dr Michael Rozmanec (Clinical Pathology).
The conference will be geared towards arming the attendees with all the “latest and greatest” to
use straight away at your practice and up to 30 CE points taking place over 5 fun filled days!
